The landscapes and towns of the Elbe have remained virtually unchanged for the past hundred years with its magnificent castles, and cities that include some of Europe’s most dazzling architecture. During your cruise you will visit the fascinating Baroque city of Dresden with its famous art collections and jewels of the Green Vault.

M.S.Katharina

Dresden M.S.Katharina was built in 2000 and accommodates just 79 passengers, ensuring an intimate ambience on board. The ship has a restaurant, bar, library, laundry, gift shop, hairdresser, sauna and sundeck. There is also a spacious sundeck from where you can enjoy the passing scenery.

Cabins on board are perfect for relaxing (approx. 125 sq.feet). All cabins feature a private bathroom with shower and toilet, radio and television and mini-bar.

On M.S.Katharina 'A' cabins on the upper deck, have French door style windows and 'B' cabins on the main deck, have a picture window.
Dining on board consists of a hearty buffet breakfast, five course lunch and traditional afternoon tea with pastries. In the evening, gourmet cuisine is the rule with fabulous dinners of up to 9 courses.

Itinerary

DAY 1	Depart from London Heathrow and transfer to your ship in Prague for afternoon embarkation.
DAY 2	This morning there will be a walking tour of the Old Town. The ship leaves Prague whilst this excursion takes place. Re-join the ship at 12.30 hrs and continue sailing to Litomerice where arrival will be at 21.00hrs
DAY 3	Depart Litomerice 05.30 hrs. Arrive Bad Schandau 13.00 hrs. Depart 15.30 hrs. Arrive Dresden 19.00 hrs.
DAY 4	The ship is moored in Dresden overnight so you have plenty of time to discover this city. This morning there will be a walking tour and visit to the Green Vault.
DAY 5	There will be an optional visit to Pillnitz Palace before the ship departs Dresden at 12.00 hrs Arrive Meissen 14.00 hrs. you can join an optional tour of the Porcelain factory.
DAY 6	Depart Meissen early this morning. Arrive Wittenburg 13.00 hrs Depart 18:30 hrs

DAY 7	Arrive Madgeburg early this morning. There will be an optional city tour before the ship departs at 11.00 hrs.
DAY 8	Arrive Potsdam 08.00 hrs Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Berlin Airport for the flight to London Heathrow
DAY 9	Arrive Madgeburg early this morning. There will be an optional city tour before the ship departs at 11.00 hrs. Depart 11.00 hrs
DAY 10	Arrive Potsdam 08.00 hrs Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Berlin Airport for the flight to London Heathrow
