Two Day Delectable Lapland:

For those who are seeking the opportunity to enjoy all that Lapland has to offer in a short time capsule, our one night Delectable Lapland is an ideal choice. All the essential ingredients of any visit will be found within our tour content with fun assured for all concerned with a mixture of reindeers, huskies, snowmobiles plus the opportunity to meet the one and only Santa Claus.

Day 1 – It's time to go in Search of Santa as we fly from our chosen airport directly to Rovaniemi. Breakfast will be served during the flight and where possible aircraft with on board video entertainment will be provided. Where airlines on board crew co-operate there will be a traditional Christmas sing a long. Following our arrival in Lapland we will transfer to the resort of Suomu where accommodation will be provided in cabins or rooms according to your choice. Late afternoon and early evening following the issue of your warm overclothing and boots to protect you from the cold. Join in the simple snow games, tobogganing, tug of war, snowmobiling etc. . A buffet style dinner will be provided for all with additional childrens favourites (hamburgers chicken nuggets etc) surely on the menu.
Day 2 – Following a substantial breakfast it's now time to locate Santa Claus and we undertake an early morning departure by skidoo and sleigh directly from the hotel to a secret location where a host of activities await. Here one finds reindeers, huskies and the opportunity for snowmobiling plus other snow based activities and of course Father Christmas, Families will have the opportunity to meet the great man himself and discuss their Christmas wishes. Lunch will be taken back at Suomu. This afternoon we will depart back for Rovaniemi being aware that we still have the pleasure of visiting Santa Park a small theme park located underground close to the Arctic Circle shopping centre where a selection of Lapland souvenirs may be purchased, prior to your return from the United Kingdom.

Your Resort

We are pleased to introduce one of the last Hidden Gems of Lapland SUOMU, which is an ideal resort location for our series of 1night tours in search of the elusive Santa Claus. Suomu follows our traditional path of being located in the wilderness away from main roads, being a totally non-commercialised setting. Previously we were only able to offer tourist category accommodation here but with the opening of the Artic Circle Hotel it is possible to provide better standards in terms of hotel accommodation (probable classification Superior Tourist) which offer family rooms suitable for up to 4 persons.

Your Accommodation

Cabins

Ideal for families as the capacity is between 4 and 6 persons. Each is equipped with a private sauna and wc and romantic log fire (they are of course fully centrally heated). Warm and cosy in every way there is even a small kitchen area and all are equipped with a warm air clothes drier.

Hotel Rooms

Ideal for families these new hotel rooms with private shower and wc consist of 2 single beds and a double sofa bed and are thus suitable for up to 4 persons. Rooms are simply furnished but being totally new offer an excellent level of comfort and will attract those persons who wish easy access to the restaurant and bar without the need to change into there warm overclothing.

Meals within the resort

Wherever you are accommodated your meals will be taken in the main restaurant of the Artic Circle Hotel. All meals are provided in buffet style. The dinner buffet will feature additional children's favourites like burgers, chips, chicken nuggets etc in addition to a range of adult choices. Children may eat from either the adult or children's selections.

Each cabin or room is reserved privately for the number in that party, i.e. if 3 persons book a cabin for 6 it remains private for the 3 persons concerned as the under occupancy supplement is already included in the price for 3.
