23 December – Following your arrival in Lapland, one transfers to your chosen accommodation. Evening dinner will be provided followed by the allocation of over garments and boots. 24 December – Will you find Santa Claus today? An adventure is planned using skidoos, husky dogs and reindeer and, hopefully, Donner and Blitzen will give some idea as to where Santa is. But don’t worry – if you do not find him today, you are sure to track him down on Christmas Day when he returns from his worldwide task. Lunch will be taken outside and, in the evening, a traditional Finnish Christmas Buffet will be on offer back at Luosto. 25 December – An open air Christmas Church Service will be held at Luosto early in the morning, illuminated by lanterns and log torches. Then breakfast before you continue in search of Father Christmas. There will be a unique chance for children to meet Santa Claus and receive a present on Christmas Day. Skidoos, reindeer and huskies are once again your form of transport and an outside lunch will be provided. Tonight you will enjoy a typical festive spread. 26 December – A relaxing day is planned. You can go skiing (slalom or cross country) or visit the nearby activity centre building where activities include skidoo slalom competitions, tobogganing and mini ice-based competition. A typical outdoors meal will be served and a farewell dinner in the evening. 27 December – A choice of activities are offered for your final morning in Luosto. Mini snow games, ice-skating or simply tobogganing. Lunch will be taken in Luosto and there will be a time to buy souvenirs of Lapland before transferring back to the airport for your flight home.

For some Christmas would not be the same without dinner
table service. Kertulli’s restaurant is
prepared to provide a Christmas menu for our guests. This will
feature traditional Christmas cuisine, both Finnish and English.
The additional cost of this menu will be £140 per adult and £70
per child coverings the four dinners every day in the programme.
Reservations can only be accepted for the full tour duration and
do not include drinks which should be paid for locally. |
