In Search of Father Christmas 2005Return to main Father Christmas page Three Day Magical Moments:(Offer: MOM3) The chance for a privileged few to come to Lapland in search of Father Christmas, his reindeer and elves. This is the tour where dreams can surely become reality. Children will encounter magical moments as they seek out Father Christmas. There'll be a chance to go sledging, enjoy reindeer and husky sleigh rides and trips by motorised snow scooters. Of one thing we are sure, our scouts will be able to find Santa Claus during the visit, and our elf friends tell us that a gift will be provided by Santa to each and every child. As Santa is very busy in December, supervising the despatch of toys worldwide by reindeer we're assured of a true adventure as we search throughout the wilderness for our special Christmas-time encounter.
Day 1 – Upon arrival at Lapland we transfer to Luosto, site of the log cabins and Hotel Luostotunturi, where our accommodation has been arranged. Watch out for Tricky Dicky the elf, who knows what tricks may be played. Enjoy a welcome dinner. Day 2 – A day when reality mergers with fantasy as we depart for our adventure. A combination of motorised snow scooters, reindeer and husky dogs are available for use at locations as we comb the fells in search of the elusive Santa Claus. During our search a simple lunch will be taken at an outside venue. On returning to Luosto there is the opportunity to have a sauna or enjoy a drink in the bar before relaxing this evening in the restaurant with a farewell dinner. Day 3 – Skidoos, reindeers and huskies will once again be used at various locations as our search continues and a simple lunch will be taken at the most appropriate time and setting. Santa is known never to disappoint children taking the time and trouble to visit him and if we were not able to meet him yesterday, for sure today will be the day for that very special encounter. £40 adult, £20 child 2-15 years of age inclusive. Child Reductions, per child (2-11 years inclusive) - £80. Prices shown are per paying person. Each cabin or room is reserved privately for the number in that party, i.e. if 3 persons book a cabin for 6 it remains private for the 3 persons concerned as the under occupancy supplement is already included in the price for 3.
