Disneyland ® Park
Disney "imagineers" have plundered an incredible
treasure chest of innovation and state of the art technology to create five
Lands within the Disneyland® Park. In each you’ll find a dazzling array of
attractions, adventure and sights. So close your eyes... let yourself
dream... escape... Welcome to the magical kingdom of Disneyland® Park!
You enter another world with your
first steps on Main Street, U.S.A. Music fills the air and you'll find
famous Disney characters, horse-drawn street cars and quaint shops and
restaurants reflecting the charm of turn of the century America. From Main
Street station echoes the whistle of steam trains leaving for the grand tour
of Disneyland® Park. At the far end of Main Street, U.S.A. all five Lands
come together. Which will you explore next?
Enchanting
Fantasyland calls upon fairytales, traditional legend and make-believe to
create exciting attractions which are especially popular with younger
visitors.
Sleeping
Beauty Castle, the symbol
of Disney magic, forms the gateway to this magical land. In the dragon's
lair beneath the Castle, a red-eyed, smoke-breathing monster awaits!
One of the most popular attractions is Peter Pan's Flight. Board a
pirate galleon to fly to Never Never Land where you'll find evil Captain
Hook and Peter Pan. Afterwards you could visit the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups,
ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant or experience Les Voyages de
Pinocchio.
The delightful it´s a small world attraction will take you on a
musical tour around the globe. Try out Le Pays des Contes de Fées
(Storybook Land), either taking a canal boat cruise through a fantasy world
of miniature fairytale villages, or riding Casey Jr - le Petit Train du
Cirque.
You'll find the
excitement stacked high in Adventureland, Disneyland® Park´s most exotic
land, full of explorers, pirates and castaways.
Climb your way
into the intricate treehouse of La Cabane des Robinson on
Adventure Isle, or experience the magical world of Aladdin as you
explore an oriental bazaar. But stay on the alert, as just ahead the Jolly
Roger flies atop a menacing Spanish fortress, home to the Pirates of the
Caribbean, one of Disney's most popular attractions and where you sail
through a pirate attack on a colonial seaport.
From the
imagination of George Lucas and Disney comes an action adventure with the
ultimate twist: Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril: Backwards! In the
wild, untamed jungle you discover the ruins of an ancient temple of the
gods. Then, on board a mine cart, you begin a journey into adventure. But
suddenly, a perilous feeling sweeps you. The gods are about to play a trick
on you. Then...Whoosh! You're on a high speed chase up, over and under the
mine site - passing ancient statues and teetering columns - before thrilling
your way into a spiralling 360º loop. All this and more ...100% backwards!
Honey, I Shrunk the
Audience is one of Disneyland® Park's most popular attractions. Wacky
Professor Szalinski has been named Inventor of the Year and arrives on stage
at the Imagination Institute to receive his award. You're there as part of
the audience, but things start to go horribly wrong and suddenly you're
viewing life from a whole different perspective. Life's too short (pun
intended!) so this is one experience not to be missed!!!
One of
Disneyland® Park's most exhilarating rides is the amazing Space Mountain.
Board a rocket train and be shot skywards before hurtling down into a dark
universe full of asteroids and meteor showers through which you loop, turn
and corkscrew. Ride it if you dare!
For a
breathtaking intergalactic adventure, try out Star Tours™, a Disney
and George Lucas adventure, which utilises the latest techniques of flight
simulation. Afterwards, take a trip aboard the flying machines of the
Orbitron.
In Les
Mystères du Nautilus you can visit the infamous submarine of Captain
Nemo in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, but watch out for attacks by a giant
squid!
There's a
celebration going on at Videopolis.
A land of excitement
and romance where you'll relive the legends of the American Frontier.
Mississippi-style riverboats sail majestically along the Rivers of the Far
West, passing Big Thunder Mountain, where a runaway train takes you on a
perilous plunge from rocky peaks to treacherous mine shafts.
Walk down wooden
footpaths past shops and restaurants from the Wild American West.
But......Watch Out!
You could get
caught in the cross-fire of a bandit shoot-out!
A chilling
experience awaits you at Phantom Manor, a sinister mansion haunted by
a rowdy band of mischievous ghosts. Will you manage to escape from their
clutches?
At Cottonwood
Creek Ranch children will enjoy the small farm animals in Critter
Corral, whilst Legends of the Wild West feature the jail, cavalry
quarters, tepees and sights of a pioneer outpost and Indian village.
