Our package includes an evening snowmobile safari in search of Northern Lights, with a variety of optional excursions available for you to choose as you wish.

The Ice Hotel

The Ice Hotel itself offers double or family rooms, as well as suites decorated with beautiful ice sculptures. There is also the famous Absolut Ice bar, an Art Gallery and chapel – plus a heated toilet block along the corridor!

The temperature inside is around -5° and guests sleep on ice-beds covered with reindeer-skins – tucked-up in thermal Arctic sleeping-bags. Most guests spend just one night in the Ice-Hotel itself, then a night or two in a modern hotel room, or a cosy cabin within the complex.

The two bedroom cabins can sleep up to four persons. One bedroom has a double bed and there are bunk-beds in the other.

The popular Aurora cabins sleep 3 persons in one double bedroom and one single bedroom. These cabins have skylights through which guests can watch the stars or Northern Lights from the comfort of their own beds if weather conditions permit.

Both types of cabin have a lounge and small kitchen area, plus shower/wc.

Breakfast is taken at the local inn, across the road from the Ice Hotel. For lunch or dinner there is a choice between the inn or another cosy restaurant nearby. Cross-Country Skis and shoes can be hired, while kick-sleds are available free of charge.
